Lincoln Clay Day – A Feats of Clay Event
 
Come and celebrate all things clay on Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Beermann Plaza, Lincoln.
 
The Lincoln Art League seeks the following:

  • Artists interested in sculpting a 10" diameter x 28" long  (including a larger bell shape on one end) Gladding McBean unfired clay pipe.
  • Artists to do demonstrations of other clay sculpting, slab and coil constructions, or tile making.
  • Vendors to sell original clay art.
     
Guidelines for Entry into the Show/Demonstration:

  •  A fee of $35 (tax-deductible) for a 10' x 10' space includes in the following categories: Sculptors: one 10” x 28” unfired Gladding McBean clay pipe + clay Demonstrators of clay techniques: terra cotta clay up to 20 lbs.
Vendors selling original clay art: terra cotta clay up to 20 lbs.
  •     Artists will provide table, chairs, and if desired, a pop up shade.
  • Artists will provide their own tools and equipment.
  •     Artists will make their own arrangements to fire the pipe or clay art.
  •     Artists may sell their art at their space.
  • Artist is responsible for clean up of their space or work area.
